Roadtrip 2022 Fall: Richland - Boise - Ely - Kanab - Sedona - Joshua Tree - Paso Robles - Calistoga - Brookings - Cannon Beach

Day 53 - Harris Beach, Cape Ferrelo

We can watch the tourists from the comfort of our motel room, as they tempt the Gods of the Pacific, and then frantically await rescue.

Harris Beach is unfortunately still "under water" almost 2 hours post high tide. Must be yesterday's storm surge.

The Team assesses the State of the Beach at high tide. That little patch of sand still looks like the Pacific will sneak in from time to time.

Forget sneaker waves!! Play ball!!

Our young Padawan has not been to the Oregon beaches for almost a year. She has forgotten almost everything about the fine art of Leviball.

Nope, no idea.

Finally, after running off excess energy, her full time and attention is directed to Leviball. There is hope.

The Team navigates the Dark Tunnel of Truth and is about to break through to the lightness of Cape Ferrelo.

The classic view down to Lone Ranch. This never gets old.

Howlin' the Cape.

Russ takes on the grassy headlands.

After the Big Rains, the Giant Worms of Ferrelo make an appearance to bask in the sun and restore the balance in their plasma fusion generators.

Ella strikes her best sheltic pose. We told her she's at the Shetland islands today and she wholly empraces the idea.

Heading back from the heights. The trail is narrow and slippery. Hope we don't encounter more Giant Worms.
